Jesus and the fig tree

Posted on September 16, 2014 by Jenny in Uncategorized

Proverbs 27:18:- The protector of the fig tree will eat its fruits, the guardian of the master wii be honoured.

Psalms 145:9:- Hashem is good to all, his mercies are on all his works.

Is Jesus a protector of the fig tree?
Is Jesus caring for God’s creation?

Let us read Mark 11:12-14,29-21:- “And on the morrow, when they had come out of Bethany, Jesus hungered. And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if perhaps he might find anything

thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs. And he answered and said unto it, “No man will eat fruit from you now on- forever.” And his disciples heard it…. And they passed by it in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots. And Peter calling to remenbrance said unto him, “Rabbi, behold, the fig tree that you cursed is withered away”.

Why would Jesus cursed the fig tree that did nothing wrong, more over it was stated that it was not the season of figs. If Jesus was sent by God, he should not violated what were stated in Proverbs 27:18 & Psalms 145:9.

Think about all these verses. Isn’t there mismatched between the OT & the NT. By right if the NT is truly the the Words of God, it should not contrdicted against the OT or the Jews call it the TANAKH
No wonder Jesus had no figs fruit to eat because he is not the protector if the fig tree.
Jesus had no patient to wait for the season of fig to come. He wanted instant gratification.
